Dear Friends and Colleagues,
It is indeed my great honour to invite you to the 30th Asia Pacific Dental Congress in Bangkok, Thailand. This prestigious congress is undeniably of major importance. It offers a golden opportunity for all dental professionals, including the Dental Defense Forces members throughout the region, to extend our professional horizons through exchanging valuable knowledge and work experience.

The theme of the Asia Pacific Defense Forces Dentistry Conference 2008 is "The Multi-Dimensions of the Defense Forces Dental Services" which proposes that we are not just mere dental care providers serving an increasing number of dental patients, but the more holistic service providers. In fact, we have always been willing to concurrently offer many kinds of services that are beneficial to our communities, ranging from performing mobile dental services to the needy people in the faraway areas, to assisting the human identification processes by forensic dentists, to name just a few.

During the conference period, all attendees will have a chance to participate in a number of scientific programs, as well as to visit Thailand's biggest military hospital and dental forensic institute, both of which are located right in the heart of the city.
